The Drowsy Chaperone

Who'd a thunk it.  This ditsy musical, which even has a character called Man In Chair serving as narrator, is pure unadulterated pleasure.  There are knockout performances by Sutton Foster, Danny Burstein, and especially Bob Martin as M.I.C., whose passion for the 1928 original cast album of The Drowsy Chaperone (an entirely fictitous piece) sets the whole musical in motion.
