Shakespeare's Globe Goes for the Heart

The director of the West End and Broadway revivals of Equus, Thea Sharrock , is to make her Shakespearean debut at London's Shakespeare's Globe with a production of As You Like It. The Globe's Young Hearts season begins on April 23, Shakespeare's birthday and includes four Shakespeare and three new plays exploring matters of the heart.

Artistic director Dominic Dromgoole will helm Romeo and Juliet , a new Frank McGuiness translation of Euripides's Helen, Trevor Griffith's A New World about American revolutionary Thomas Paine, and Love's Labour's Lost, the Globe's final offering for its 2009 season.
