Masterworks Broadway is set to give the public, just what it really wants. It'll be releasing The Pirate Queen CD on July 3.

The show, which opened to less than stellar reviews, is currently at the Hilton Theatre. The score is by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg( of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon fame), with additional lyrics by John Dempsey and Richard Maltby.

The musical tells the tale, sort of true, of Grace O' Malley, the honest-to- goodness Irish Chieftain, who went face-to-face with Queen Elizabeth I. Amazing Grace is played by Stephanie J. Block.

Have a Happy Fourth!
