at the Duchess Theatre, London

By Roger B. Harris

Sherlock Holmes fans take note. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's masterpiece The Hound of the Baskervilles will be in the West End's Duchess Theatre, starting on April 16, with an official opening one day later.

Holmes, Watson and a host of characters, 20 in all, will be played by Jason Thorpe, Javier Marzan and John Nicholson, the latter two, co-founders of Peepolykus, which has adapted the Holmes tale. Orla O' Loughlin will direct. The design is by Ti Green; the sound by Mic Pool

There's danger afoot in this tale, which takes place on a desolate moor, concerning an ancient family curse, a spectral hound, duh? and a killer, who's less than user-friendly.
