  Judi Dench

Full casting has been announced for the Donmar West End production of Madame de Sade by Yukio Mishima.

The previously announced Judi Dench and Rosamund Pike will be joined in Michael Grandage's production by Frances Barberr, Fiona Button, Deborah Findlay and Jenny Galloway.

Mishima's play, which is translated from the Japanese by Donald Keene, is set in Paris as the city hurtles towards violent revolution. While the Marquis de Sade languishes in the Bastille for his notoriously lurid behavior, his story is recounted by six women.

Madame de Sade in which Rosumand Pike plays the title role and Dench plays her mother Madame de Montreuil, begins performances at the Wyndham's Theatre on March 13.

The Donmar's West End season concludes with Jude Law's Hamlet which Grandage will direct after Kenneth Branagh bowed out because of film commitments.
