Let's see: The Letter has closed and The History Boys won't be coming in until December, so Shadowlands will take up the slack and move into Wyndham's from October 3-December 15.

This revival of the William Nicholson award-winning play will star Charles Dance and Janie Dee. Directing the play will be Jeremy Sams. Both actors previously starred in a one-night benefit reading of the play in December.

Shadowlands is the true story of the love affair between British writer C.S. Lewis and American divorcee Joy Davidman. The 1990 British production won the Evening Standard Award for Play of the Year. The show also received three Olivier Award nominations. The Broadway production in 1990 was nominated for Best Play. And Nigel Hawthorne picked up a Tony for Best Actor. The film version in 1993 had Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger in the lead roles.
