AUTUMN SEASON AT THE NATIONAL
at the National Theatre

  Alex Jennings in Present Laughter

Get thee to the National this coming season for productions of Present Laughter in the Lyttelton and Much Ado About Nothing in the Olivier.

For Present Laughter( Lyttelton), Alex Jennings will star in the Noel Coward comedy. He'll be joined by Lisa Dillon, Sara Stewart and Sarah Woodward. The play will be directed by Howard Davies. Previews start September 25, with an October 2 opening.

Much Ado About Nothing( Olivier) will star Zoe Wanamaker and Simon Russell Beale as the mismatched and reluctant lovers Beatrice and Benedick. Susannah Fielding will also be part of the cast. Directing it will be NT artistic director Nicholas Hytner. Previews begin December 10, with an opening on December 18.
