at the New London Theatre

By Roger B. Harris

The terribly inventive threesome, collectively called Blue Man Group, will be leaving the West End's New London Theatre on June 24, 2007. (It had been booking until October 21, 2007.) The show, which opened in November, 2005, will have played 19 months.

Blue Man Group was founded by Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton and Chris Wink. The act consists of three blue, the color, (not the mood) characters, who play a variety of unique instruments, and do strange things, combining percussive music, art, science, and last, but not least, vaudeville , to stimulate and, yes, amuse audiences. People really do dig this stuff.
